Maisa will be out of college the next time this happens

Tonight we have a super blood moon, and it coincides with a total lunar eclipse. The last time this happened was 1982 (when I was 5), and it won’t happen again until 2033 (when Maisa is 25).bloodmooneclipse

Maisa was able to see the early stages of the eclipse before she had to go to bed. Jill and I watched till the moon was almost completely dark.

Tourney time

Maisa’s team won one and lost one in the tournament today. The kids learned a lot and had a lot of fun this season.

Maisa earned her first-ever tournament medal, too!

RIP Yogi Berra

One of the greatest players in baseball history, and one of my Dad’s all-time favorites.

It’s a hit

The best thing about softball season this fall? Maisa seems to really enjoy playing the game. Baseball is supposed to be fun, right?

I feel blessed and thankful that I’m able to attend the games and practices.

Last night’s game was postponed to tonight. Maisa’s team beat old friend Ben’s daughter’s team. Ben and I have been pals since the fourth grade.

Playing third base, Maisa grabbed a ground ball and beat Sophia (Ben’s daughter) to the bag for a force out. Small world. 🙂
